General Repairs
Asphalt repair:
Saw cutting the asphalt is important for nice straight edges all the way around a patch.
We apply Tack (asphalt Binder) to all of the edges of the patch to ensure better bonding between old and new asphalt.
We also crack fill the edges of the patch after completion, this will keep water from filtering between old and new asphalt, causing it to fail.
Speed Bumps:
Asphalt and rubber speed bumps are a specialty with us. We start with a saw cut edge and use a jackhammer to remove a 6” depth on the inside to make a “Notched” or “Keyed” form speed bump; durable and efficient.
We apply plenty of tack (asphalt Binder) throughout the entire newly exposed area, this way you will have better bonding between old and new asphalt.
Once completed, we will paint the asphalt speed bump with two coats of traffic yellow paint for high visibility.
Concrete repairs:
We do concrete repairs such as side walks, patios, curbs and gutters.
We will remove the damaged concrete and dispose of excess debris from the job site. We can pour new concrete offering either an exposed aggregate surface or a textured broom finish.
We install concrete wheel stops (bumper blocks), to secure these to the ground we pin them down using 18” long, 1/2" thick metal rebar.
