Seal-Coating
Crack fill:
We clean the cracks of any debris or vegetation from ¼” to 1” wide, (using wire wheels and commercial blowers).
In some cases we will use a heating torch and compressed air to clean the cracks
Once the openings are clean, we fill them with hot rubberized crack fill, leaving a thin band on the asphalt surface to improve binding.
Surface Prep:
We clean the section of the black top to be sealed beforehand and remove any debris from the site (loose aggregate, organic mater and assorted rubble).
Several methods can be used from high pressure air to heat application, ensuring that the sealant will have a good bond.
Seal-Coat:
We will apply two even coats of industrial Asphalt based sealer, with possibly a third for heavier traffic areas. This adhesive is the best barrier available for an asphalt surface or roadway.
We use an edging shield to make sure we don’t over spray the concrete. All the trim work is completed with an edging brush to guarantee control of quality.
